U11+

All players wishing to compete on U11 and older teams are required to attend tryouts, which are held in June for the following playing year. Please refer to our Team Formation Policy for detailed information on MGFC team division policy. Also see the “Girls Playing Coed” Policy, Playing Up Policy, and Fees for more information.

MGFC fields teams in both the Classic Division (MAYSA) and the State League (WYSA). Teams typically practice twice per week, sometimes three times.

• Classic Division: Generally 8 regular season games (4 home, 4 away) on weekends. Schedules are issued by MAYSA.
• State League: Schedules are issued by WYSA. Travel is statewide and varies by bracket and season.

Teams at both levels often add tournaments in addition to league play and travel varies by team and season.
